Outlook Express - Changing an existing account
 
This information is for customers who already have an exisiting e-mail account in Outlook Express. For user who want to setup a new e-mail account in Outlook Express please refer to Adding a New E-mail Account.
 
Step 1

Click on the Tool menu and choose the Account menu option. In the Account dialog box click on the Mail tab to display a list of exisiting email accounts.

Click on the email account you want to change and then click on the Properties button on the right to display the information of the account.

Step 2

Change the name of the Account to PowerNet E-mail and enter your PowerNet email address in the E-mail address field.

Step 3

Click on the Servers tab, you will see the server and login information. Change both the Incoming and Outgoing mail server to: mx.powernethk.com. Change the Account name to your PowerNet account/login name and change the Password to your PowerNet login password.

Step 4

Click on the Connection tab at the top of the dialog box, click on the Always connect to this account using: checkbox and then choose PowerNet from the list of connections.

Press the OK button to finish the changes. At the Internet Accounts dialog box click on the PowerNet E-mail account then click the Set as Default button. Press the Close button to complete the process.
